I once did a motorcycle trip a fex years ago with a friend, we stayed near Bouillion and decided to visit the castle ... we could only reacht the ain entrance ... couldn't even see a glimpse of the castle. The only thing we saw was a guard house at the main gate. Everything seemed very well kept. THe garden was groomed, we saw lots of security measures ... camera's etc. Didn't see anyone there, but I'm sure they saw us. :) We just behaved as passer by's that we were ... looked around, took soms photo's and carried on our trip ...

Actually experienced this on lsd and mushrooms in a cave with a huge loud waterfall...never was into the hatman despite being into other supernatural stuff. I had an amazing magical fun night, made it to the cave around 1:30am. The vibes started shifting into feeling watched, feeling a presence (mind you this is the area that one greer dude supposedly channeled aliens) also an area with high mountain lion activity. I was with a big dude friend whos seasoned with weird shit yet naturally while tripping, i could feel him getting scared, energetically. I at first saw the "blacker than black" blob move around the cave, bouncing and sliding off the cave walls, then what transpired was a huge hat man, he was scooping the water coming down from the waterfall and throwing it towards us. He was growing and shrinking, scooping and throwing, over and over. I could feel the intensity of fear from my friend radiating out, i lit a joint in honor of the spirits and handed it to my friend, i just took deep beaths and watched. The visions went on for a bit, it didnt feel as overwhelming as other "beings" can feel but it didn't feel inviting either lol i wonder what the message of scooping and throwing the water meant

I first saw the hatman 1985. Only sinds 2018 I know what I saw, because I had seen him again. Both times, I was awake. The first time, I was outside in august of 1985. in a campingground in a forest area. I described him as Sandeman, (a figure in our Dutch commercials on tv with a fedora) my bother had seen him too since we walked together. The second time, he had a tophat, I described him as a figure from the 1800.( like Abraham Lincoln) There for I never combined the two. In the eighties, I did talk about it, but was ridiculed, so never said anything about it again. I was listening to Music while sleeping on the 30th of january 2024. The time was 7:53 (i took a screenshot) when i woke. I had been dreaming of the hat man following me. The hat was a gray cotton hat, the ribbon was of black silk. The hats rim was rounded upward and the hat top was aswell. He was wearing a suit and tie. A song i had never heard before was playing and is called «do you dream of me too?» its very eerie. I had never heard of the hat man. I found out about the hat man today and i had to be taken in an ambulance today for a medical emergency. (Prior to finding out) This is too creepy ngl and im not even spiritual.

Hello everyone! I guess I am not crazy 35 yo now and had a dream of a Hatman few months ago this year. Exactly as most of you have described it - I had a dream literally of me walking to the wc at midnight and as I walked out of my bedroom a guy who looked like from the Italian mafia movies (dark shadow figure with a trench coat and hat) face shadow features but no eyes no mouth. He looked at me in such evil manner like he wanted to do something to me or judgmental stare at me. As I saw him I was scared instantly and started praying and calling the name of Jesus. Something shut my mouth and didnt allow me to say the Jesus name. Then to escape this dream I kept repeating Jesus name and then my mouth was released so I could pray more and then woke up my heart was pumping so intensely. This guy was standing next to my bedroom door in my dream. Horrible dream! Thanks for all the sharing here at least I am not going crazy

What if he's the grim reaper an he comes when we have that weird thing with sleep paralysis? Perhaps the sleep paralysis triggers the same "alarm" that death does, an so he comes thinking it's time to collect but finds out it was only a false alarm? It would explain the intense looming feeling of doom that was described.

I sow this multiple times when I was around 14-16. It was like 8 times at least. I remembered this my whole life and in my 20s started to looking for some more informations. I was shocked that this stuff is around the world, guy wit a hat and raincoat? It's too specific! It can't be popular phenomen. And yet... gosh I was so, so shocked... Those encounters were outside of my home, near forest or road. Always short after this something bad happen. Nothing 'big'. Noone ever dies or gets sick. Just some scars after fall or smth like this. And he usually followed behind me on street. I remember looking behind my arm and still seeing him. This was scary as hell.
